Inbox Coherence

Your rules. Your inbox. Kept coherent.

Gmail filters are great when a message arrives. Inbox Coherence keeps applying your rules after that — checking your mailbox every day and handling email as it ages, moves, or changes state.

Works with Gmail and Google Workspace.

Inbox Coherence routes incoming email through recurring rules into organized destinations.

After delivery

Gmail filters stop at the door. Your rules can keep going.

Inbox Coherence runs saved Gmail searches repeatedly, so messages can be handled later as their age and location change.

How it works

Define it once. Let it keep running.

Every rule stays legible: what to look for, what to do, and how often it runs.

01 · Define

Build a rule from supported Gmail search conditions, or enter a Gmail search string directly.

02 · Act

Choose an enabled action such as archive, move to Trash, or permanently delete.

03 · Keep running

Active rules run automatically every day in the background. No new inbox to manage.

Quiet by design

Once it’s set up, there’s less to keep up with.

Inbox Coherence is meant to become invisible after setup: a small amount of structure that quietly prevents years of clutter.

Coherence in practice

Small rules that quietly prevent years of clutter.

The best rules are the ones you set once and forget.

Purge temporary authentication emails.

Delete verification codes after a day instead of letting them live in your account forever.

Keep archive history lean.

Remove old archived mail while protecting anything you deliberately saved.

Bring forgotten messages back.

Restore a filed message to the inbox and mark it unread when it still needs attention.

Expire temporary labels.

Remove short-term workflow labels when the work is no longer current.

Age newsletters out gracefully.

Keep recent newsletters available, then archive or delete them once they stop being useful.

Preserve what matters indefinitely.

Exclude saved, starred, or intentionally labeled messages from cleanup rules.

Your rules, not our judgment

Inbox Coherence doesn’t decide what matters. You do.

Choose the search conditions. Choose the action. The service applies what you told it to apply.

Conditions stay explicit.

A rule matches because the search criteria say it matches — not because an AI guessed what the message means.

Actions stay explicit.

Messages change only according to rules you enabled.

Exceptions stay yours.

Use labels, exclusions, and saved states to protect the mail you want to keep.

What can Inbox Coherence do to a matching message?

Depending on the actions enabled in the product, a rule can archive, move a message to Trash, or permanently delete it.
